DALCHINI SPICE SHEFFORD Award Winning Restaurant, Dalchini Spice is recognised for providing outstanding food & service. Since opening its doors, Dalchini Spice, Shefford has achieved outstanding success, but the past two years in particular have presented fantastic opportunities for the team to gain further recognistion for their talent. The Dalchini Spice team were able to showcase their skills when the owner of Dalchini Spice, Sumon Choudhury participated on Season 2 of Chanel S’s The Catering Circle Show’s Restaurant Talent Show 2017 episode.
The restaurant’s cleanliness was truly reflected when it was awarded with a 5* hygiene rating, making it the first Indian restaurant in Shefford and surrounding areas to achieve full marks. In October 2017, they were rewarded for their great maintenance with the Star of Aragon Best Kept Area/Street award. For two consecutive years, the Indian restaurant has been a finalist for SME Bedford Business Award’s Restaurant of the Year. The team have also demonstrated their excellence this year by receiving recognition from TripAdvisor with a Certificate of Excellence award. and by qualifying to and participate in The 2018 World Culinary Cup after being shortlisted when competing at The Premier chef Competition & Exhibition British Asian Cuisine.
